Bio:
Elegant, explosive, and entirely unapologetic, “The Bombshell” Shelly Benson has been rewriting the rules of Pro Wrestling Action since her very first step through the curtain. When she debuted, Benson instantly stood out by pairing elite high-flying athleticism with sharp, lethal technical acumen. Her initial matches put the entire locker room on notice, but it was her close alliance outside the ring that truly helped shape her early career. Forged in the trenches of those grueling early bouts, Shelly’s deep friendship with Joey Mayberry—now PWA’s Co-General Manager—provided her with a brilliant tactical sounding board as she navigated her rise through the ranks.

For her first few years, Shelly fought an uphill battle as a solo competitor. However, as the landscape of PWA shifted, so did Shelly’s patience. Fed up with waiting for opportunities to be handed to her, and with her old friend Mayberry now moving into the front office, “The Bombshell” decided to take matters into her own hands.

In early 2026, she shocked the wrestling world by turning her back on traditional code and joining forces with “The Desperado” Nick Turner. Bound by a shared contempt for the rulebook, Benson and Turner formed “The Desperados.” Leaving her past behind, Shelly traded her fan-favorite smile for cold ambition, using her technical precision to anchor the most dangerous tag team in the promotion.

The ruthless gamble paid off in historic fashion at All-Star Battle Vol. 6 in July 2026. Battling through a punishing tournament field, The Desperados defeated “The Hollywood Horrors” to become the Inaugural PWA Dynamic Duos Champions. Now holding the gold and running roughshod over the roster, “The Bombshell” has proven she no longer needs to ask for power—she dictates it.
